Grant Avenue in Chinatown, San Francisco, viewed from Sacramento Street. In the old photo one can see Shangri-La Bazaar, Far East Cafe, Sing Chong building and Cathay House. Surprisingly little seems to have changed in the last 70 years, except that some houses have been given more paint and more cars are on the road.

Grant Avenue, was San Francisco's first street, around which Chinatown developped since the mid-19th century.
