"Monuments aux Morts" in the Père Lachaise cemetery, the largest cemetery in Paris. The monument, dedicated to all the dead, is located on the central entrance avenue. It was designed by Albert Bartholomé (himself buried in the cemetery) and inaugurated in 1899.
In the center of the monument, a couple is depicted, representing humanity, and walking through the door to afterlife.

With its many tombs of famous personalities, the Père Lachaise attracts many visitors, and the huge area with its many trees is also used as a park and a place to relax.
