The Porte de Samois (also known as the "Porte de Paris") is a medieval city gate dating from the 15th century. Together with Rue Grande and the city gate across the street, the Porte de Bourgogne, it forms the main thoroughfare of Moret-sur-Loing. It owes its name to its orientation toward Samois-sur-Seine, a village on the Seine.
