The Gunung Lebah Temple (Indonesian for "small hill") is situated directly in the beautiful Campuan Ridge where two rivers meet. It was built in the 8th century by the Buddhist priest Rsi Markandya who founded the city of Ubud. 800 years later it was expanded by the Hindu sage Danghyang Nirartha.

The composition shows the quick sunset that is typical for the regions close to the equator.
