Dabei wird die Leiche zunächst in einem 20 Meter hohen Turm durch die Stadt getragen. Spontane Sprints und viel Lärm sollen die bösen Geister verwirren. Anschließend wird die Leiche über eine Rampe von der Turmspitze nach unten befördert und in einen großen Stier gelegt. Zahlreiche Opfergaben werden beigelegt.
Schließlich wird der gesamte Stier verbrannt.
