Blois on the banks of the Loire (Quai de la Saussaye), with the Church of St. Nicholas in the background. The missing building in the foreground is the old building of the "Augustin Thierry" college, which was victim of bombings in WW2 (Blois was first bombed by the Germans in 1940 and by the Allies in 1944). It wasn't rebuilt after the war; nowadays a square is located there.
