The parish church of St Peter is Radovljica's central church. It is built in the Gothic style.
Most likely, a chapel stood in the church's place already in the 10th century. As the city expanded, so did the church. In the 13th century, the church had become so established that it became the new headquarters of the deanery. Around 1500, the Romanesque basilica was replaced with a Gothic church. This renovation started in 1495 - that year is still engraved above the entrance.
