Das heutige Erscheinungsbild verdankt das Haus der letzten großen Generalsanierung. Nach dem Fall des Eisernen Vorhangs übernahm der französische Architekt Jean-Louis Mayer das marode Objekt. Die Fassade präsentiert sich im eleganten, für Franzensbad typischen klassizistischen Stil, der sich perfekt in die schachbrettartige Ruhe des Kurviertels einfügt.

The building owes its current appearance to the last major renovation. After the fall of the Iron Curtain, the French architect Jean-Louis Mayer took over the dilapidated property. He completely gutted the hotel before its reopening in 1995.

The Hotel "Three Lilies" (Boutique Hotel Three Lilies / Kurhotel Tři lilie) is the oldest spa hotel in Františkovy Lázně and one of the most historically significant buildings in the entire Czech Republic. The hotel opened in 1793 (the foundation stone was partially extended around 1794) and has borne its original, traditional name ever since.
From the outset, it offered luxurious accommodations for European high society and integrated balneological services for its guests early on. From 1828, the hotel also housed the city's first public bathhouse.
Famous Guests:
As the city's social hub, the hotel hosted the absolute elite of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: He stayed at the hotel during his spa treatment in 1808.
Clara Schumann: The famous pianist took the waters here in 1886 and 1889.
