The Belfast Museum barn on Market Street underwent extensive renovation in 2002. After discovering the barn was actually "going South" on it's underpinnings, fundraising efforts made possible the pouring of a new foundation, new siding, new windows and front doors, and a decent set of steps to go in. The barn is now home to the museum's "Crime and Punishment" exhibit, the old two-man jail cell and a horse-drawn funeral carriage.
