In end of January 1910, Paris experienced it's largest known floods in history. Through snowmelt and heavy rain, the Seine rises 8 m above the normal level, many Arrondissements stand under water for weeks. Here the Pont des Arts next to the Louvre. Recently, Paris was surprised by a flood in early June, but it not nearly reached the level of that time.
