Zwar gab es 1953 noch keine Fußgängerzone, aber während der Vorweihnachtszeit war der Autoverkehr aus der Großen Straße verbannt. Rechts sehen wir das Kaufhaus L & T (mit freundlicher Genehmigung vom Museum Industriekultur).

Although there was no pedestrian zone in 1953, but during the pre-Christmas period, the traffic was banned from the Great Road. On the right we see the department store L & T (courtesy of the Museum of Industrial Culture).
