Ploumanac’h beach with the St-Guirec oratory. The rocks are typical of the "Côte du granit rose" in northern Brittany.
The medieval prayer house can only be reached during low tide by foot. It is said there was a tradition according to which young women who wanted to get married put needles on the nose of the saint during the low tide. If the needle was still there after the flood, the marriage wish would be fulfilled before the end of the year.
