I re-took this photo of Locust Street from 1935 during one of the floods that caused many North Lawrence residents to evacuate their homes. This is located directly over the bridge in North Lawrence. As you can see the old gas station, Sinclair, has been removed and it is now a parking lot for the Lawrence visitor center. The railway is still there, along with street poles, and the buildings on the left side of the street are now gone and a more modern-looking factory is set up on that side. Photo taken by Gaslight Gardens on N 2nd Street, facing Locust Street.

Hi Kalli, interesting picture, but the alignment needs a bit of improvement. Maybe our guide will help: https://www.re.photos/how_to :-)
