Piazza San Carlo è una delle più importanti piazze del centro storico di Torino. Spesso soprannominata dai torinesi "il salotto della città", è inserita all'interno dell'asse viario di via Roma, che la collega a piazza Castello e a piazza Carlo Felice. Verso sud, vi è un altro piccolo spiazzo denominato piazza C.L.N..
