A compilation of two pictures taken 44 years apart, Sandygate Bridge and the Leeds & Liverpool canal remain but the old mills are now long gone. a recent addition is the rusty bridge, this was installed in 2014 and you can read about it by clicking the link below:

This is my first Rephotograph, I'm fairly happy with it but part of the image has disappeared from the left hand side of the picture, this is unfortunate because this is a major part of the subject matter, I have now found another shot from the same original photographer which shows a wider view and I will now go back to the area where the scene is and re-take the shot and then once its finished I'll upload it for RE-Photos to do its magic and then once done I'll delete this one.
