The John Uihlein (EE-Line) Center opened in 1973. He donated $500,000 to build the UC, more than half of what it cost to build. Now, it houses a bowling alley, pool tables, gymnasium, fitness equipment, and a swimming pool. 45 years later our youth are still enjoying swimming at the UC!
