In the end of January 1910, Paris is set under water by the flood of the Seine, which rises 8 meters above the normal level. Particularly affected are streets close to the river Seine, like the rue du Haut Pavé, in which the residents can move only with boats.
According to experts, a renewed flood would threaten Paris still with similar effects.
