1976 fuhren meine Frau und ich mit unserem kleinen Autobianchi zum Nordkap und machten ein Erinnerungsfoto am Obelisken. Genau 40 Jahre später kamen wir im Rahmen einer Kreuzfahrt mit TUI Mein Schiff erneut an diesen Ort, mussten aber feststellen, dass der Obelisk der neuen Globus-Skulptur weichen musste und um ein paar Hundert Meter verschoben wurde.
In 1976 my wife and I drove our little Autobianchi to the North Cape and took a souvenir photo on the obelisk. Exactly 40 years later, we came to this place again as part of a cruise with TUI Mein Schiff, but found that the obelisk had to give way to the new globe sculpture and was moved by a few hundred meters.
