The Cultural History Museum was built in 1889 in neo-classical style and offers collections from the departments of arts and crafts and design, town history and everyday culture and archeology with a permanent exhibition on the prehistory and finds from the region. In the oldest museum of Osnabrück, regularly there are special exhibitions on arts, history and archeology (with kind permission of www.bildpostkarten.uos.de).
