Hitler at a ceremonial inspection of Prague Castle (Matthias Gate), soon after German forces entered Czechoslovakia in March 1939.

This visit followed the dismantling of the Czechoslovak state, the occupation of Bohemia and Moravia, and the creation of a German "protectorate" administered from Prague Castle.
