DDR Head of State Erich Honecker saluting Stasi chief Erich Mielke at Stasi headquarters in Normannenstrasse on February 8, 1980. The occasion is the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Ministry for State Security and during one of my class trips with Bavarian International School seniors.
