Place de la Réunion in Mulhouse in Alsace with the town hall, probably around 1910 and today. The name of the square commemorates the incorporation of Mulhouse into France in 1798. The current town hall building, with its Renaissance style, was completed in 1553. Since 1864, it has housed the city's historical museum.
The white house with the turret on the right is the "Maison Mieg", a town house originally dating from the 15th century and rebuilt in 1560. Next to it are other houses from the same period, some of which are painted, although some facades appear to have been restored since the old photo was taken.
