View of Rue de Rambouillet in Chevreuse, in the Yvelyines department south of Paris. In the building on the left there was a blacksmith at that time (who seems to have customers at the moment) - today this building does not exist anymore. On the hill you can see the well-preserved castle "Madeleine" (built in the 11th century and modified several times since then). Today it houses the headquarters of the Chevreuse Nature Park administration.
