Budynek wzniesiono w latach 1912–1916 według projektu Antoniego Jabłońskiego-Jesieńczyka na posesji nr 8, na miejscu jednokondygnacyjnego budynku pocztowego[1], na rogu ul. Wareckiej 16, w sąsiedztwie domu Karola Mintera mieszczącego się przy placu Wareckim 10, w którym znajdował się wówczas urząd pocztowy

The building was erected in the years 1912-1916 according to the design by Antoni Jabłoński-Jesieńczyk on property no. 8, on the site of a single-storey post office[1], on the corner of Warecka 16, in the vicinity of Karol Minter's house at 10 Wareckiego Square, where the post office was located at that time
