Durante la rivolta di Varsavia , nella chiesa fu organizzato un ospedale ribelle. Dopo la guerra, i servizi si sono svolti nell'edificio danneggiato fino al 1953, quando le autorità hanno deciso di demolire il tempio. Al suo posto è stato in parte costruito un blocco residenziale. Nel 1999 la chiesa è stata ricostruita, incl. dai fondi della Bank Rozwoju Eksportu , dei circoli creativi e della redazione di Rzeczpospolita .

During the Warsaw Uprising, a rebel hospital was organized in the church. After the war, services were held in the damaged building until 1953, when the authorities decided to demolish the temple. A residential block was partly built in its place. In 1999 the church was rebuilt, incl. from funds from Bank Rozwoju Eksportu, creative circles and Rzeczpospolita editorial team.
