Elle est très ancienne car situé dans un carrefour autrefois important. A la fin du XIXe siècle c'était une épicerie- marchand de vin. Dans les années 1920 c'est devenu un simple café (les pêcheurs allaient à la pêche dans le canal au bout de la rue); Dans les années 1980 c'était un restaurant gay. Il a fermé vers 1990 et transformé en appartements. On connait tous les propriétaires depuis 1800
