Der Tierpark Hagenbeck ist ein Tierpark in Hamburg. Der im Stadtteil Stellingen gelegene Tierpark ist ebenso wie das 2007 daneben eröffnete Tropen-Aquarium Hagenbeck in Familienbesitz. Er geht auf die im Jahr 1863 von Carl Hagenbeck sen. begründete Carl Hagenbeck’s Handels-Menagerie am Spielbudenplatz im Stadtteil St. Pauli zurück, die 1866 von Carl Hagenbeck jun. zum Neuen Pferdemarkt verlegt wurde. Am 7. Mai 1907 eröffnete er den weltweit ersten Tierpark ohne Gitter am jetzigen Standort außerhalb der Stadt. Er gehört mittlerweile zum Hamburger Bezirk Eimsbüttel und wird im Volksmund zumeist nur als Hagenbeck (zu Hagenbeck gehen) bezeichnet (zitiert aus https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tierpark_Hagenbeck ). Das Foto zeigt den historischen Eingang, der mittlerweile durch die Erweiterungen ins Zentrum des Parks gerückt ist.

The animal park Hagenbeck is an animal park in Hamburg. The animal park located in the Stellingen district is family-owned, as is the tropical aquarium Hagenbeck, which opened in 2007 next door. He goes on to the year 1863 by Carl Hagenbeck sen. Carl Hagenbeck's Handels-Menagerie founded Spielbudenplatz in the district of St. Pauli back in 1866 by Carl Hagenbeck jun. was moved to the New Horse Market. On May 7, 1907, he opened the world's first zoo without lattice at the current location outside the city. He belongs meanwhile to the Hamburg district Eimsbüttel and is popularly usually only as Hagenbeck (to go to Hagenbeck) (quoted from https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tierpark_Hagenbeck). The photo shows the historic entrance, which has meanwhile moved through the expansions into the center of the park.
